Proverbs 3:5-6 nlt

Notice the words in this Proverb.
You are to trust the Lord with ALL your heart
and seek His will in ALL you do.

When you trust and seek His will completely He will show you the way to go.
The greatest blessings come when nothing is withheld from the Lord.

Can you say you trust Him with your whole heart and seek His will in everything you do?
What holds you back from freely giving everything to Him?

Blessings this day of grace,

  1. I wrote a post about faith last night and this fits perfectly. Just as you noted, it’s about surrendering ALL, otherwise it isn’t truly a commitment. We tend to want to hold back a bit, and if we really think about it, why? God has so much more to give us if we let Him!

    • It is hard to surrender all…at least it is for me. I always seem to want to hold on to some control. But I am working on it and little by little I am letting go. You are so right. God has much to give us but He won’t force it on us. He wants us to willingly and freely accept all He has and is.

    • These are things that the Lord puts on my heart. I ask myself these questions and then share them. I am happy when they touch someone else’s heart and make them ponder and wonder. Blessings to you!

  2. Ego. Just like a child who wants to do it her way. I’m still just like a child in the eyes of God.

Thank you for pointing out the word ALL otherwise it’s so easy to miss what is so important in the verse.

    • It is easy to miss the little words that are often the core of the message. Sometimes the Spirit just highlights them for me and I am always amazed at His grace.
