Thank you, Seeker. With age does come a certain wisdom for which I am thankful. Like you I find wisdom in contemplation, silence, nature. Also, in scripture and prayer. And I am blessed to have some very wise people in my life who I can go to with questions and concerns who help me in many ways. God is faithful and gives us what we ask for when we ask with humble hearts and a desire to be pleasing to Him.
This post reminds me of what King Solomon wants more than anything else: Wisdom. He asked God to give him wisdom. And ask the same thing from God.
Contemplation, reflection, quiet mind, in nature, silence, that’s where Wisdom lies. Knowing to say the right thing at the right time.
You are a wise person, Patricia. Where do you find yours?
