Proverbs 20:22 nlt

Some say revenge is sweet;
but in truth it only makes things worse.
Let the Lord do the avenging and it will be finished.

Do you always have to have the last word?
Do you think it is a sign of weakness to let things go?

Blessings this day of grace,

  1. There is a saying “Vengeance is mine says the Lord”. I do not believe on this saying at all, Patricia, because God is merciful. What I believe when the person is “hurtful” is that is the work of the evil one. And I hope that the evil one won’t get the better of the person. Needless to say, I just pray that God will have mercy us.

    Patricia, I think you have a calling to be a spiritual director. God night. Perpetua.

    • God is merciful but there will be a day when the unrighteous will stand before Him and know His judgement.

      I always look forward to your thoughts, Perpetua. They make me think and examine more closely what I have written. This is always a good thing. Thank you.
