We are to treat all people the same, with respect and kindness.
The context of this passage refers to treating the rich and poor alike;
one is not better than the other.
Rich and poor are to be loved the same, as we love ourselves.
In a larger context we are to love all people impartially.
There will always be people we like and those we don’t like.
We are to rise above our feelings
and love all people, the good the bad and the ugly, as we are loved .
All people are to be loved as the Lord loves us.
Do you show favoritism to some people?
What do you do to overcome favoritism and love as Jesus does?
Blessings this day of grace,

I must admit I am for the underdogs (poor, sick, special needs). Not that they are my favourites they need more than the rich. And what I pray that the rich will cater to the poor and the needy.
I could use this for work tomorrow. Thank you, Patricia.
You have a compassionate heart, my friend.
