prayer

Sometimes  the sick person we pray for does not get well,
sometimes they have a chronic illness or condition,
and sometimes they die.
This doesn’t mean prayers haven’t been heard and  answered;
God always answers the prayers of the faithful.
We may not understand or appreciate the answers now but one day we will.

God always answers, and He answers with love and wisdom
knowing what is best for those who love Him.

Have you been praying for healing and been disappointed ?
Will you pray now for acceptance and the peace that surpasses all understanding?

Blessings this day of grace,

patricia

  1. This is a very prayerful post, Patricia. I just love it.

    How can one be disappointed with God just because I did not get what I want. I’m asking for the wrong thing in the first place. God will surprise me instead and I love surprises.

    Thank you and God night.

    1. When my prayers seem to be unanswered I am often disappointed. Not with God but with myself for not understanding and accepting the way things are and with my impatience and anger. And you are right…God has many surprises for us.
