OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

By nature our hearts are hard as stone.
No seed can take root, nothing can grow, there is no lasting life in it.
A heart of flesh is soft and tender.
It is ready for seed, what is planted will grow, there is life eternal in it.

We cannot give ourselves a new heart;
it is a gift from God.

What seed is planted in your heart?
How are you nurturing it?

Blessings this day of grace,

patricia

  1. God would have planted all sorts of seeds in our hearts such as faith, hope and charity. In order for it to nurture, they have to be share these God given gifts to others. It’s not ours to keep.

    1. You are so right. The reason we are given gifts, talents, and abilities is to share. He gives us tender hearts of flesh so we can feel all the things you mentioned and share them. Our responsibility is to take care of the seeds sown so we will have a harvest of good.
