contentWhen we learn that contentment is not determined by circumstances
and that it comes not from ourselves but from God, then we will be content.
When we allow the Spirit to help us rise above our circumstances,
then we will be satisfied and at rest.

Do you sometimes feel you need to have more (or less) ________?
If you filled in the blank would that satisfy you or would there be something else?

Blessings this day of grace,

patricia

    1. When we appreciate all we have and where it all comes from we are content. Thank you for sharing your time and self here. Blessings today and always.

  1. Oh this is a good question Patricia! I am learning to be content in the busyness of life. It is all so fast and yet I find if I can call God into the race then I can remain content and calm in the fastest of the river rapids!

    1. We need to learn patience as we learn our lessons. We are blessed to have a patient Teacher. Sometimes I forget, in the busyness of life, where contentment lies. When that happens I feel the stirrings of discouragement and know I need some alone time with the Lord.
