Everyone is to work to provide for themselves and their families.
We are also to help provide for those who cannot do so for themselves.
Maybe, if we shared more of what we have there would be fewer robberies.
I am not as generous as I could be.
I sometimes worry that I won’t have enough money to take care of myself.
Maybe, it is because my faith is not where it needs to be.
What about you?
Blessings this day of grace,

God has been speaking to me about my attitudes towards money and generosity a lot lately. I am finding that as an American Christian there are several mindsets that seem to be set at odds with the Bible.
I would like to hear more of what you are learning. As Americans we sometimes think we have the franchise on Christianity.
Perhaps I will put together a few blogs on the matter when I return. I am heading out to counsel camp for the next week. I am really excited to see what the Lord will do!
I am in the same boat as you.
There are so many in this boat it would sink if the Spirit wasn’t in here with us.
I sometimes have to give quick . . .before I think about it too much and talk myself out of it. I think it is harder for you because you are responsible for it all . . .no one else to help financially. Thank you for sharing His word with us and helping us grow!
I don’t think I agree about it being harder for me. I don’t have children and just Teddy depending on me. But I do agree that sometimes we have to give quickly or it doesn’t get given.
