Genesis 1:6,8 nlt


Before the second day there was only water; above, below, and in between.
Then God separated the waters calling the expanse in the middle, sky.
Now there are the waters of the earth and the waters of the heavens and the
space between, the sky, in preparation for what was coming on the third day.

When you look at the sky what do you see?
Have you thought of it, not just as an expanse of blue that provides air,
but also as something that holds two bodies of water apart?
