Jeremiah 2:13 nlt

DCF 1.0

 When there is no rain a cistern dries up;
it has no inner source, it depends on rain or man to fill it.
So it is with this world; it has no infinite source to draw upon;
in time its charms lose their magic and there is no life left.

Christ is the fountain of living water;
He is the source of life eternal.

Which sounds better:
cool clean refreshing water that is from an endless flowing fountain
or stale stagnant water that is at the bottom of a well?

Jeremiah 17:8 niv

When we trust the Lord and have confidence in Him,
trust and confidence that is deep in our heart,
we have no reason to fear for the future.
He provides all we need for today and tomorrow.

Do you worry that you will not have “enough” in the future?
Will you give these concerns to Him trusting that He will provide all you will need?

Jeremiah 6:16a niv

crossroad

Sometimes the most stressful and tiring part of a journey
is not being sure of which road to take.

Wise travelers ask for directions;
they ask for the best route and that’s the one they take.

Once on the right road the traveler can relax
and feel rested.

Sadly, the second part of this verse tell us that the Israelites
responded by saying “We will not walk in it.”

Do you ask for directions when you are not sure which direction to go?
How do you respond when given directions?

What the Lord said to Israel then He says to you now.
His love is never-ending it is forever and always.
Because of His love for you He wants you near to Him.

Do feel far from God?
Who do you think moved away?

Jeremiah 31:3

God’s love does not end.
Once He has you He never lets you go.

Everlasting love, unfailing love, can you  fully grasp it?

May this be a day of grace,
