2 Peter 1:10-11 lb

If we work hard to become like Christ
we will be sure-footed on the path.
Our journey will take us to the gates of Heaven
and we will be welcomed into His Kingdom forever.

Does it seem all your hard work is for nothing and goes unnoticed?
Have you forgotten why you work and who is waiting for you at the gate?

2 Chronicles 30:27 hcs

smokeSometimes we may feel that our prayers stop at the ceiling or that no one is listening.
It doesn’t matter when, how, or where we pray the prayer is heard in Heaven.
God hears every word, even the ones not spoken; He is listening.

Do you think a special form or words are needed to have your prayer heard?
When was the last time you prayed?

Matthew 6:9 esv

We are God’s children; we have an intimate relationship with Him.
He is in Heaven where He has a place ready for all of His children.
His name is holy, to be cherished, revered, honored above all others.

Do you have an intimacy with God the Father or is He someone far away from you?
If you have a close intimate relationship with Him how did that come to be?
If He seems far away from you what would need to happen to change that?

Matthew 6:10 niv

God’s will is accomplished in heaven now for it is known
and life there is perfect.
His will is not completed or fully known here on earth…yet.

We can be confident that when His kingdom comes, here, we will see clearly
what is, today, sometimes difficult to discern.
When His kingdom comes we will truly know His will
and the earth will be as He created it to be.

Do you pray for His kingdom to come?
Do you pray for the earth to be as He created it to be?
Are your prayers bigger than you?

Matthew 6:9 niv

These simple words that begin what we call the Lord’s Prayer
are filled with meaning.

We pray not only to our majestic God but to our loving Father.
One who is warm and personal, there is an intimacy here.

We begin by declaring He is above all and sovereign,
due the highest honor and respect.
We acknowledge who He is and commit our fidelity to Him.

Have you prayed the Lord’s Prayer recently?
