Isaiah 52:7 nlt

There are plenty of messengers with bad news and few with good news, or so it seems.
Maybe it seems this way because the bearers of bad news are
ambitious, bold, and determined to share their news
We are the bearers of the Good News that people need to hear.
Let’s be enthusiastic, resolute, and confident and share this Good News
so people will see there is more than violence, tragedy, and despair in the world.
We have the message of peace, saving grace, and God.

Does all the bad news sometimes overshadow the Good News you know?
How do you keep the Good News central in your life?

Luke 2:16-17 nlt

adoreThe shepherds didn’t keep the news to themselves.
They saw Jesus and then told everyone about Him
and what the angel said to them.
How wonderful!

I don’t tell everyone what I know about Jesus or even that I know Jesus.
Do you?

Angel&Shepherds

Today with the sensationalism of the media I wonder
if many people would give much thought about an angel appearing
with a message of good news, or any news, from God.
It would be on TV, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, you name the media;
it would be breaking news in a matter of minutes,
News to be believed by some and ridiculed by others,
shown hundreds of times with experts and analysts
telling us what it all means.
But God, in His wisdom, kept it simple.

How do you think you would react if you turned on the television
and saw an angel giving a message to the world?
Would you be amazed, skeptical, afraid, joyful…?
