Isaiah 53:6 gwt

No one stayed on the Lord’s path.
We all strayed and sinned.
Our sins nailed Jesus to the cross.
We all are guilty.

Aren’t you glad that this is not the end of the story?

Proverbs 3:13,17 niv

As we grow in knowledge and insight
we are not buffeted  by the winds of uncertainty.
As we become wiser and more understanding
we know peace on any path we travel.

What is your path like today?
Is it pleasant?  Is there peace?
When you are on a difficult path how do you keep your peace?

Blessings this day of grace,

Psalm 27:11 esv

Enemies often make our paths difficult to travel.
Because the Lord knows this He will teach us
what we need to know
and what to do when enemies confront us.
He will lead us on the path He has set us on; we have only to ask Him to show us the way.

Do you have a teachable spirit?
When you ask the Lord to show you the way do you follow Him or go your own way?

Blessings this day of grace,

Matthew 7:14 esv

This could be a discouraging verse;
the gate is narrow, the way is hard,  few find it.

There is encouragement though;
we do not walk alone, we are given written instruction, nothing is hidden.
We can see clearly if we put aside preconceived notions of what it should look like.

Is it (or was it) difficult for you to see the gate?
What is keeping you (or kept you) from seeing clearly?

Blessings this day of grace,

Psalm 5:8 nlt

In the course of your journey you will meet many people.
All have joined you on the path for a reason.

Most will help you stay on the path;
Some will want to see you wander from the path;

To stay on the path ask the Lord to keep
 the path clearly marked in the way you should go.

When in doubt about which way to go who do you ask for directions?
