Philippians 4:19 gw

Sometimes we have a need, not a want but a true need that isn’t being met,
A critical need for basics, food, a place to live, a job or healing;
When  we are desperate to have these needs met
we often become angry, depressed, and we doubt the Lord’s promises.
Perhaps the need is not satisfied because there is a lesson to learn,
patience, acceptance, humility, changes to make in habits or lifestyle.
Or maybe we are being made ready for the next wonder He has planned for us.

Is there a need in your life that is overwhelming you?
Have you asked the Lord for the understanding of His purpose in this trial?

Psalm 138:8 esv

hand-173584_640This is a most wonderful promise of God.
He will fulfill His purpose for me…and you.
Paul spoke of this in Philippians 1:6 when he wrote,
“…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to
completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
If it seems that you are not growing or moving forward remember these verses.
The Lord loves you and is faithful.  He will not leave you unfinished.

Do you feel that you are going nowhere?
Do you not know that Jesus is leading you home?

Blessings this day of grace,

storm2

When the storm is raging it can be a struggle to stand strong.
When we  persevere we will see a glimpse of sunlight on the horizon.
Sometimes just enough light to help us see the truth of the trial.
And really that is all we need, just a glimpse, of the Son;
waiting with the promised crown.

In your trials will you look beyond where you are standing,  past the storm,
to where the Son waits?
