The seeds of plants need to be planted at the right time
or there will be no harvest.
There is no wrong time to plant the seeds of righteousness.
Once your heart breaks open it is ready to receive the seeds.
Now is a good time to sow and seek the Lord.

Have you broken the hard ground of your heart?
Have you planted seeds and now wait for the harvest?

There are many who believe in Jesus,
that He was a good, even holy, man but no more than that.
That is not enough for righteousness.
We must not only believe in Jesus but believe that He is the Christ,
the Son sent by the Father, our Lord and Savior.

What keeps you anchored in your belief that Jesus is the Messiah?

Abram was counted as righteous because he believed God
not because he believed in God.
Just as we can know of a person and not know them personally
so it is with God.
Believing in God is the beginning of faith,
from there we are to know Him and believe Him.

Have you thought about this?
Do you see the difference between believing in and believing?

It is not easy being a peacemaker;  it is often without appreciation.
Yet, if we plant the seeds of peace they will take root and grow.
We need only be patient and wait for harvest time.

Are you a peacemaker?
Does it seem no one appreciates your efforts?
Does it seem the harvest is long in coming?

Hebrews 12:11 esv

time

When we were children discipline was an ugly word.
As adults some of us still think of it as something awful.
Perhaps we feel this way because we have in our minds
that discipline is only meant to punish us for wrong doing.

However, there is more to discipline than punishment.
It develops and improves skills, trains, educates, and prepares
us for greater things.
Yes, discipline can hurt but it has a purpose.

In God’s plan and purpose discipline readies us
for whatever is to come next and gives us peace
when facing the future and its challenges.

 How do you define discipline?
Have you seen the benefits of God’s discipline in your life?
