salvation
Lamentations 3:25-26 niv
The Lord wants us to look for Him in our lives.
He wants us to know our hope is not in vain.
He wants to hear from us and when we don’t have words
to express ourselves He is listening to the quiet sighs of our hearts.
Do you have times when you sit quietly in His presence?

Romans 9:15 nlt
God doesn’t ask for our thoughts or opinions on who He chooses to bless.
He doesn’t have to explain or give us reasons for what He does,
He is Sovereign and Omnipotent.
We can find comfort and joy in knowing that salvation
is not by the whims and fancies of man.
Do you think you will be surprised by
who you see in Heaven and who you don’t?

Psalm 62:1 hcs
When we rest in a place of our own making we may feel calm, and at ease.
There may be extended periods when we are relaxed and happily resting quietly.
But, one day, the stress, busyness, concerns, and noise of daily life will intrude.
Then daily life takes over and we lose all we gained from our quiet respite.
When we rest in God we know the quiet lasting peace only He has to give.
In His rest we are given relief from all that wearies us.
True restorative rest is found only in God..
I think resting in God is the ultimate of naps.
Are you relying on yourself to find lasting uninterrupted rest?

Ephesians 2:8 nlt
We cannot earn or buy salvation.
It is with undeserved kindness
that God gives us this incredible gift.
Are you cherishing this gift or taking it for granted?
Today, will you write a thank you note to God for His gift?
Blessings this day of grace,
