Romans 15:4 nas

paper-68833_640The Bible isn’t an out-dated history book or just a book of stories.
It is our life instruction manual written by the Spirit using men as secretaries.
If we want to know how to live rightly, how to do routine maintenance, and fix things,
we need to read the Book and do the work.

Do you spend some time everyday reading the Bible?
If it is a struggle or chore what can you do to change that?

Blessings this day of grace,

Psalm 27:11 esv

Enemies often make our paths difficult to travel.
Because the Lord knows this He will teach us
what we need to know
and what to do when enemies confront us.
He will lead us on the path He has set us on; we have only to ask Him to show us the way.

Do you have a teachable spirit?
When you ask the Lord to show you the way do you follow Him or go your own way?

Blessings this day of grace,

Psalm 143:10 msg

God will teach us to live in the way pleasing to Him.
When we live to please Him
the Spirit will lead us to the most beautiful of places,
an open and peaceful place.

Do you have a teachable spirit?

Blessings this day of grace,

Psalm 25:5 niv

There are guideposts on the path.
God has put them there to help you on your journey.

The guideposts come in many forms;
sometimes they are things, sometimes people,
other times they are in the form of troubles and trials
or in great fun and happiness.

You may see them from afar or not see them until you are almost past.
There may be times you miss one completely and lose your way for a time.

The Savior is your hope in all the places you go.
He will guide and teach you…all you have to do is look and listen.

Have you recognized the guideposts on your path?
Do you trust Him to get you where you are going?
