There are times when we feel spiritually wrung out and lifeless.
When this happens we must listen carefully and the Lord
will lead us to where we will be refreshed and restored.

When you feel you are in a desert and your soul is parched
 how do you to find healing waters?

Without water living things thirst, wither, and die.
Yet, even with water the time comes when life ends.
There is another source of water; Jesus.
Drink the water He offers and you will have life
not for a few years but forever.

 When there is no rain a cistern dries up;
it has no inner source, it depends on rain or man to fill it.
So it is with this world; it has no infinite source to draw upon;
in time its charms lose their magic and there is no life left.

Christ is the fountain of living water;
He is the source of life eternal.

Which sounds better:
cool clean refreshing water that is from an endless flowing fountain
or stale stagnant water that is at the bottom of a well?

Those who have the joy of the Lord
are those that spend time in His Word,  meditation, and prayer.
They know Him and they thrive.

What do you do with your time?
Do take time every day to be with the Lord?

watering

God has others plant the seed of faith within us
then has others doing the watering.
All the while He is tenderly caring for the new life,
seeing that it has all it needs to grow and flourish.

Who planted the seed in your heart and who gave it water?
Have you thanked them for their servant hearts and love?
